| Objective:Through the investigation of lateral violence among nurses present situation, toexplore the factors influencing the lateral violence among nurses, and nurse horizontalviolence against nurses work pressure and mental health effects.Methods:Select three lever of first-class hospitals in the city of Changchun,2departmentswere selected randomly from each hospital.150nurses were selected as the researchobject. The main measurement tools include: nurses suffered lateral violencequestionnaire, nurse stress scale, symptom checklist (SCL-90). To describe nurseslateral violence situation, To describe nurses lateral violence situation, analysis oflateral violence impact on the level of work pressure And mental health of nurses.Survey data were analyzed using statistical software SPSS13.0.Results:1. A sample of about70.8%nurses suffered from lateral violence in the past year,only8%of13.9%from explicit violence, suffering only recessive violence, two arefrom48.9%.2. Lateral violence rate exists Department difference, χ2=9.178, P <0.05. Theincidence of lateral violence in Department of internal medicine is higher thangynaecology Department, χ2=9.639, P <0.05; no significant difference between otherdepartments.3. The low age, nursing age, low education, Low degree rates higher lateralviolence against nurses.4. Work pressure of violent group was larger than Non violent group’s.5. Mental health of violent group was lower than Non violent group’s.Conclusion:1. The incidence rate of LV among nurses was high;the main way was invisiblelateral violence and dominant lateral violence coexistence.Pure invisible lateral violence was more common than dominant lateral violence.2. Lateral violence rate exists Department difference. The incidence of lateralviolence in Department of internal medicine was higher than surgery Department andgynaecology.3. Lateral violence affected by age, nursing age, education.4. Horizontal violence increased work stress of nurses.5. Horizontal violence reduces the level of nurses’ mental health. |
