Methods:202nornmal healthy adults were electedrandomly and underwent echocardiography, and99male with mean age is(41.5±12.5)years old,102female with mean age is (44.9±13.1)years old. the left atrialendocardial surface was traced by left atrial tracking(LA Tracking), to obtainedlong-axis length-time curve of left atrial,circumference-time curve, area-time curve,volume-time curve, volume change rate curves of left atrial.then measure maximumlong-axis length of left atrial (LALmax), minimum long-axis length (LALmin),maximum circumference (LACmax), minimum circumference (LACmin),maximumarea (LAAmax), minimum area (LAAmin),maximum volume (LAVmax), minimumvolume (LAVmin), pre-systolic volume (LAVp), systolic filling rate (dv/dts), earlydiastolic emptying rate (dv/dtE), emptying peak fraction at late left ventriculardiastolic (dv/dtA), normal value ranges were drew from above parameters, and thenresearch mentioned parameters above, which standardized by body surface area(BSA),whether affected with gender, age. Results: The differences of left atrial parameters between male group and femalegroup were not significant statistically (P>0.05). All parameters in each age groupswere significant statistically(P<0.05), and these parameters increase with age.Conclusion: The parameters of normal left atrial increase with age by left atrialtracking, but nothing with gender. Left atrial tracking, as a new technology, hascertain feasibility on left atrial normal configuration and function. Part â…¡Study parameters of left atrial function in normal people with real timethree-dimensional echocardiographyObjective: To explore normal value and application of parameters of left atrialvolume and function by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE) innormal people.Methods:202healthy volunteers were divided into male group and female group bysex, and group A:≤40years old (63cases), group B:41~60years old (87cases),group C: more than60years old(52cases) by age. RT-3DE was used to obtain themaximum volume(LAEDV), minimum volume(LAESV), ejection volume(LASV),pre-contraction volume(Lapre), passive emptying volume (LAVp), active emptyingvolume(LAVa) and ejection fraction(LAEF) of left atrium. And the parameterswere corrected by body surface area, then got the new parameters LAEDVI, LAESVI,LASVI, LapreI, LAVpI, LAVaI, LAFEI. Calculated normal value ranges of the newparameters, and the differences between age groups and gender groups.Results: Normal value ranges of the parameters: LAEDVI (32.58~35.05) ml/m2,LAESVI (14.80~16.21) ml/m2, LASVI (17.87~19.40) ml/m2, LApreI (17.99~19.86)ml/m2〠LAVpI (10.46~11.92)ml/m2〠LAVaI (6.88~7.92)ml/m2ã€LAEF’(53.54~55.95)%. LAEDVI, LAESVI, LASVI, LapreI, LAVpI, LAVaI,LAEF’values had no significant difference in male group and female group (P>0.05).LAEDVI, LAESVI, LASVI, LapreI, LAVpI, LAVaI values had significant differencebetween different age groups(P<0.05). Dereasing trend of LAEF’values in the age groups, but no significant difference in statistics(P>0.05).Conclusion: the values of left atrium have nothing with gender, LAEDVI, LAESVI,LASVI, LapreI, LAVpI, LAVaI increase with the ages increasing, LAEF’is not changewith ages increasing. RT-3DE is real-time, dynamic, three-dimensional, accurate,non-invasive. It is feasible in assessment of left atrial volume and function, and a newmethod in assessment of left atrial function in clinic. |
