| Purpose:Observer clinical effects LG09Geranium Treatment on epidermal growth factorreceptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) induced rash, mainly for LG09Geranium side of the patient’s rash symptoms graded symptom scores, rash syndromedifferentiation, quality of life, rash symptom improvement time and combined withtraditional Chinese medicine on the impact of changes in solid tumors, and the safetyevaluation of the patients. EGFR-TKI in mentioned in includes gefitinib and erlotinib astwo targeted drugs.Methods:60patients with standard conditions of EGFR-TKI induced rash of patients from2012.4.1to2013.10.1,30cases of test group, the geranium LG09treatment;30cases inthe control group, with pimecrolimus ointment in the treatment of. Patients in bothgroups performed a course of treatment (30d) treatment. Observation on60cases ofpatients with skin rash and frequency frequency distribution, the distribution of rashsyndrome differentiation of symptoms, before and after treatment of skin toxicitygrading (using NCI-CTCAE version4.0scoring criteria), TCM symptom score (usingTCM symptom score was observed table), quality of life score (using DLQI scorestandard), time rash symptoms improved a regimen, the blood carcinoembryonicantigen CEA difference, evaluated the efficacy on cancer two months after treatmentbefore and after a course of treatment. After the clinical observations, statistics ofvarious types of data were carried out using SPSS18.0analysis.Results:1.Relations and rash syndrome type and effect: the collection of60patients, in termsof syndromes to damp-heat maximum (65%), blood heat less than normal (35%).Treatment group of30patients, damp-heat, blood heat efficacy differences between thetwo groups (P<0.05), damp-heat rash compared the efficacy of blood heat well. 2.Quality of life score: before treatment it was statistically significant (P>0.05)between the two groups;while result before and after treatment were significantlydifferent (P<0.01) in the two groups, both groups were significantly improved aftertreatment, the treatment group improved significantly better in the control group(P<0.01).3.Symptom scores: before treatment between the two groups was not statisticallysignificant (P>0.05); before and after treatment were significantly different (P<0.01) inthe two groups, both groups were significantly improved after treatment, the treatmentgroup improved significantly better in the control group (P<0.01).4.TCM symptoms Evaluation: after the treatment, the two groups were statisticallysignificant (P<0.05), the total efficiency of treatment group for TCM symptoms wasbetter than the control group.5.Rash symptom improvement in time: there are differences (P<0.05) aftertreatment, the treatment group rash symptom improvement was significantly shortertime than the control group.6.Carcinoembryonic antigen CEA difference between before and after treatment:two groups have no significant difference (P>0.05), and not statistically significant.7.Groups of disease control rate:not statistically significant (P>0.05) between thetwo groups after the treatment.8.Rash toxicity grading: it was not statistically significant (P>0.05) between thetwo groups before treatment; the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05)before and after treatment,and symptoms improved significantly after treatment,theefficacy of the treatment group significantly better than the control group (P<0.01).9.The relationship between classification and curative effect: after the treatmenttwo groups show statistically significant (P<0.05).10.Safety Evaluation: before treatment routine blood, liver and kidney function oftwo groups were not significantly different (P>0.05); liver and kidney function were significantly different within two groups before and after treatment, the difference wasnot statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:1.EGFR-TKIs induced by mild heat rash common physical characteristics, EGFR-TKIs in the sight of blood caused by severe heat rash and more physical characteristics;LG09Geranium Treatment effective than heat-based blood heat.2.Effect of LG09on EGFR-TKIs induced rash Geranium was significantly betterthan the control group, and the rash and severity and efficacy had positive correlation.3.LG09Geranium parties can improve the quality of life of patients, decreasesymptom scores, and significantly shorten rash subsided time compared to the controlgroup.4.LG09Geranium’s security is good, EGFR-TKIs is not interfering with the side ofthe solid tumors. |
