Research On The Design Of The Mobile Chinese Learning Content Based On Podcasting

With the progress of information technology, especially the Web2.0and the rapid development of3G technology, mobile learning became more and more popular which has been used in various disciplines. Gaining information and resources through the mobile phone and other mobile devices gradually become one of the most favorite ways of people. The application of the podcasting in education is becoming more and more, and the construction of podcast language resources had become hot among the company and personal. However,According to the extensive literature, this paper mainly do the reasearch as following:(1)First, analyzed and summarized the present mobile learning researches on language learning. Then drawing on data through an interview of3producers and questionnaires with a sample of subjects in East China Normal University and Analysis of the current Chinese podcasting courses, one can tell something about the advantages of the podcasting-, the existing problem of the podcasting.Current development of the podcast resources still exist a lot of problems, such as repeated construction, the quality of the content and so on. The reasons of these problems above is that the designers are influenced by the traditional face-to-face education, in addition there are lack of proper connection between language teaching and the theory of mobile learning.(2) Then,Aiming at these problems, this paper discussed the characteristics of mobile learning, and get into the nature of the Chinese mobile learning. Then put forward podcasting content should be designed with micro theory of learning, ubiquitous learning theory, theory of second language learning, communication theories as the foundation. And we got the content design framework.(3) In the following chapters, according to the framework and the theories, the paper discussed how to design the content of the language podcast from two respects which are the selection of contents the form and the structure of the content, some suggestions are given to improve the design of the Chinese podcasting. Content selection must be made by choosing certain audice,according to the analysis of Chinese characteristics,considering the mobile environment. The content must be practical, interesting and useful. The fourth chapter summarizes three kinds of organization forms, and disussed how to design the structure of the contents from the beginning、target、teaching content structure、language、background music、rhythm control and other aspects.
