| With international construction projects increasing in China, the demand for construction projects interpreter is also rising rapidly. The author of this thesis, based on her almost one-year construction-engineering conferences interpreting experience, analyzed the typical difficulties in different types of construction-engineering conferences and put forward their coping strategies. The theoretic basis and analysis foundation of this paper is the Interpretive Theory from "Paris School" which has been popular in interpreting circle since1960s. During the analysis the author also found some imperfect parts of the theory. As extension of this paper, some suggestion or strategies are also provided for reference for those who are interested in construction-engineering conference interpreting. It is also hoped that this paper could have slight contribution to the development of MTI education. |
