The application of NLU technology in discourse analysis is one of the mostimportant and difficult point in A.I. technology.This text use the Cluster Model ofdiscourse analysis in NLU to solve the problems in Intelligent Instrument Design, putsforward the process of establish and realize the cluster model of conditional relationshipbase on discourse. Through understanding and analysis the user’s needs in naturallanguage form, realizes the human-computer interaction, provides powerful support forthe following design.Firstly, the theory of NLU and the method of knowledge expression are introduceddetailed in this text, combining with the characteristic of natural language understandingsystem, establish the method of knowledge expression in this text is based on theconceptual dependency theory, ontology and framing theory, uses the form of templateto express the knowledge. Secondly, classify the conditional relationship in Chinese,combining with the theory of Hypotaxis and Parataxis to conclude the representation ofconditional relationship, puts forward the concept of establish factor in conditionalrelationship. Then describes detailed the process of establish and realize the clustermodel of conditional relationship base on discourse. Finally, uses the cluster model ofconditional relationship in Intelligent Instrument Design, and its result turns to besatisfied....
