The Humanism Of Orff Music Educationg System

Nowadays the modern society is an information highly developed society. All countries in the world seem the development of education as the key first of country prosperity. China has also put forward the strategic decision of "developing the country through science and education" at the beginning of the twentieth century.What kind of people we need to teach and how to educate people, have become the core problem of the educational reform. An innovative information society needs people who have creative spirit and creative personality. Orffs teaching philosophy has been emphasized:In music education, music is only a means, the aims is cultivating creative talents of personality. Therefore, this paper expounds the formation, the historical background and the cultural roots of the Orff humanism music teaching concept using the Orff music teaching as the example and through the view of Ethnomusicology. At the mean time, this paper analysis the Orff music education system of humanism ideas by the example of Professor Hartmann’s teaching. At the end, based on the theory and practice, this paper gives some feasible suggestions for the music education reform of schools.
