In the late Ming Dynasty, under the influence of the custom, folk song had acquired an unprecedented development with the participation of the whole society. The Object-chanting folk song is an important part of Ming Dynasty folk song, which deserves special research. In chapter1,firstly my study which is based on the researches of others, focuses on the secret-love contents in Object-chanting folk song of Ming Dynasty. After this I analyzed the close relation between food and sex, seeking for its origin and cause in consideration of present condition. Chapter2is mainly about the object-chanting special feature of object-chanting folk song of Ming Dynasty, which can be proved in three aspects:widely use of pun, vividly associating things with human and making out new means from old things. Chapter3is about the regional feature of object-chanting folk song of Ming Dynasty while chapter4is about the civil customs. The former plants a root in these folk songs in the argument, however, the latter combines these folk songs with other datas related, such as novels, notes, chorographies and so on. Chapter5can be divided into two parts, the first comparing the object-chanting folk song with object-chanting poem in Ming Dynasty, and the second comparing the object-chanting folk song with riddle in Ming Dynasty. It seems that popular literature has an influence on graceful literature, but the influence is rather about the approval of "truth" and "popularity" than write technique. While within popular literature, the object-chanting folk song and riddle promote each other and they even share the same words or sentences. The riddle-song would be the evidence of the relation between them. The object-chanting folk song of Ming Dynasty is a masterpiece done by the public and benefits from the public intelligence and imagination. Sometimes these songs are pornographic, but the defects don’t outweigh the merits.
