| Along with the development of market economy, more and more expatriate workers in China grew upin every field. Because expatriate workers are our country the specific policy of executives and vehicle,expatriate workers tend to affect the image of the nation and the implementation of the policy. So in thisspecial environment concerning expatriate affairs, they need to have good psychological quality. Especiallystable cope with emergency strategy, ways and methods. At present, there is no expatriate personnel forpsychological and deal with the systematic study efficiency. For the blank, the expatriate workers as theresearch object, and to better research the coping self-efficacy of expatriate workers.The purposes of this dissertation were to investigate the contents of the expatriate workers’ copingself-efficacy as well as to study the consequences of the expatriate workers’ coping self-efficacy in China.For these purposes, some standard research method, such as literature review, interview and survey wereused in this research. In addition, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structuralequation modeling, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were also applied for dateanalysis. The main conclusions are as the following:Firstly, the content of the expatriate workers’ coping self-efficacy consisted of three factors, whichincluded efficiency cognitive, resources mobilization and degree of self-confidence. The reliability andvalidity of the expatriate workers’ coping self-efficacy questionnaire were highly enough.Secondly, the research discussed about the demographical variable’s effects on the expatriate workers’coping self-efficacy. The demographical variable included sex, age, marital status, educational status,working age, working conditions. We found that the demographical variable had some significant effects onsome dimensions of the expatriate workers’ coping self-efficacy. Specifically, Different age of expatriateworkers cope with the efficiency in the dimension significant differences. Different degree of expatriateworkers cope with efficiency cognitive in performance is significant, the two dimensions show a significantdifference between resources mobilization and degree of self-confidence. Different marital status ofexpatriate workers cope with the effectiveness and efficiency of resources in cognitive dimension todifference in the degree of self-confidence dimensions didn’t show significant difference. Different working age of expatriate workers with efficiency in dealing with effectiveness on different dimensions ofremarkable difference. Different working conditions for foreign workers cope with the efficiency ineffectiveness on cognitive dimensions difference in resources to mobilize dimensions and degree ofself-confidence dimensions didn’t show significant difference.Third, the expatriate workers’ coping self-efficacy and work family conflict is a significant negativecorrelation; And the organization support, family support, subjective work performance, mental health is asignificant positive correlation. That deal with expatriate personnel the higher efficiency, working familiesconflict will is lower; The greater the degree of organization and family support, deal with efficiency ishigher; To cope with the higher efficiency, the competent performance will be more high; To cope with thehigher efficiency, the more beneficial to mental health.Current limitations and future research orientation were also discussed at the end of the dissertation. |
