The advances in softwaretechnology contributes to the possibility of computer aided translation and thecorpus-based translation approach makes computer aided translation technology moremature. Chiew Kin Quah, an American expert of translation tools, has her workTranslation and Technology published at Palgrave Macmillan. The introduction ofTranslation and Technology by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press as a partof the MTI series, is important for the training of translation talents.
