This dissertation aim to comb and interpret Han Fei’s moral view, try to find thelogical premise that "to be a peaceful and ordered world is finally good for everyone".It analyze various aspects of moral theory involving in his moral view, and relatedhistorical experience. It also intends to provide a new viewpoint and approach forstudying Han Fei’s view of morals, and at the same time, to supply some referenceand thinking on re-understanding the relationship between Han Fei’s thoughts andmodern civilization construction.This dissertation is consisted of four parts:The first chapter mainly illustrates the appearance and connotation of "Tao" and"De". Simultaneously, traces the background of Han Fei’s moral view the economic,political, cultural and other aspects.The second chapter from four aspects, moral origin, moral basis, essence ofmorality and moral cultivation, combs and interprets Han Fei’s moral view. It includesfour parts. First, to explain the meaning and relationship of "Tao" and" De". Second,to discuss the theory of inborn nature, which is "like profit but hate harm", and itsspecific social practice. Third, to expound the basic ethical principles that fairness andjustice, and other specific ethics requirements, for instance, benevolence,righteousness, propriety, wisdom and integrity. Forth, to find the method of the actualmoral training.The third chapter analyzes and discusses that Han Fei’s thoughts is or is notimmoralist. There are two primary reasons that some people think Han Fei’s thoughtsis immoralist. One the one hand, the theory of inborn nature is self-interest, and willlead to immoralist. One the onther hand, Han Fei denies the moral function. Thischapter aims at the two primary reasons from three aspects to discuss. First, becauseof the different, the social environment is different. Second, to value force is not denymorals. Third, Han Fei aspires to a consummate society, which is moral. In a word, toreveal the logical premise that "to be a peaceful and ordered world is finally good foreveryone" of Han Fei’s moral view, and discuss that it is legitimate and righteous.The fourth chapter focuses on the modern significance of Han Fei’s moral view.The moral must be practiced and implemented in real life. In today’s social life, wecan see that a lot of people are just interested in their own profit and not care forothers. There certainly has some practical value to study Han Fei’s moral view, which admits individual values, adheres to the rule of law, practices moral, to be kind toothers and aspires fairness and justice.
