| Chinese teacher shortage is the main problem encountered in the internationalpromotion of Chinese work, the quantity and quality of Chinese language teachers cannot meet the actual needs of the current Chinese language teaching. Since2007, Chinaset of Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(MTCSOL) tocultivate high-level application-oriented expertise, hoping to ease the shortage ofChinese teachers. In this article, I make a survey of Guangzhou Chinese internationaleducation graduate employment intentions to find out the real intention ofemployment about MTCSOL and if the MTCSOL will make teaching Chinese as theirjob after graduation.And then make a few suggestions to how to develop moreChinese teachers, hoping to provide a little help to resolve the problem of theinternational promotion of Chinese teachers. |
