Non—material cultural heritage protection has been widespread concerned in concutries around the world. In recent years, it has formed a protection upsurge of non-material cultural heritage. The protection of non-material cultural heritage linked to the developmen of the national culture. As a country, China has56ethnic groups. People of all ethnic groups has created an extremely rich intangible cultural heritage with their own wisdom and imagination, such ah "Manas" and Kyrgyz Olong and crafts and so on, which can be called the world cultural essence. Therefore, we have the responsibility and obligation to strive for protects these precious cultural wealth, strengthen the idea of protection.Olong song in the Pamir’s Kyrgyz folk literature has a unique status; it is preserved as a form of wedding songs of Kyrgyz people in Pamir, and a carrier of the ancient culture, and has a great variety of types. It is being sung in oral form by two people (both Olong singers represent bride and groom) only the wedding ceremony, it is aimed for a persuasion in which of how to treat their parents, how to handle the relationships, how to care the elder people to bride and groom as well as all the young people. The role of education of Olong is very strong; the efficiency is also very good. Therefore, and it has become an indispensable part in Kyrgyz wedding.In2007, Kirgiz Olong was selected in the first autonomous region-level intangible cultural heritage, and in2008, it was elected to the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. Since then, the College of literature of Xinjiang Normal University and other units held several times about singing Olong activities and Olong seminar, Olong attention and research, scholars in the "Xinjiang Kirgiz Literature","Language and Translation" and other journals, mainly discusses the meaning, content Olong features, singing form, function, content.This thesis has divided into four parts to introduce the intangible cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz Olong. The first part is the introduction of the topics purposes and its research significance and research methods. Collection and published of the Kyrgyz Olong and the contents of the status of the research. The second part detailed the contents and retains the status and classification of Kyrgyz Olong. The third part’s a core part of this thesis, analysis about Olong content characteristics, structure, singing form and exploring about status of Olong quo, the status of concert venues. The effects of modern culture on Olong. In the fourth section analyzes the singer’s status quo of Kyrgyz Olong singer, apprentice relationship, and performing skills. In addition, talking about Olong protection of the status quo and the problems in Olong. And make some suggestions on protection of Olong.We have to understand Kyrgyz Olong and life customs of Kyrgyz people, through systematic reorganization and research on Kyrgyz non-material cultural heritage, by this way and research causes it to carry forward. For the prosperous and rich social culture, I have made a little contribution to, which has built a certain foundation for systematic and thorough studies on the Kyrgyz Olong in the future.
