The Research About The Etiquette And Custom Of Yiwu In The Ming And Qing Dynasties

As the basis and the mother county of cities in Zhejiang central, Yiwu is typical representative of the culture and customs in Zhejiang central even the whole Zhejiang province. This paper adopts the method of combining vertical analysis and horizontal comparison to discuss the etiquette and custom of Yiwu area in the Ming and qing dynasties.Longitudinal analysis is to combine the ancient Ritual study such as "The Rites of Zhou Dynasty","The Rites","The record of Rites","Family rites of Zhuxi" etc. and other literature such as the official history books,essays, historical data, notes, etc. with Yiwu chorography to show the track of the evolution from the pre-qin period to the tang and song dynasty, all the way to the Ming and qing dynasties, in order to take an examination of its successors and to examine its revolution. Lateral comparison is to compare "Jin Hua county annals ","Dongyang county annals","Yongkang county annals","Cixi county annals","Xiangshan county annals" and other places in the vicinity of Yiwu with Yiwu chorography, so people can have comprehensive understanding the etiquette and customs of Yiwu during Ming and qing dynasties,so as to understand Yiwu’s spirit and to carry forward the culture of Yiwu. The article is divided into several parts such as introduction, main content and conclusion.The introduction is to comb the relationship between etiquette and custom, the status quo of the etiquette customs research in Yiwu during the Ming and qing dynasties,at the same time, it introduces the research purpose and the research methods of this paper. The main content firstly overall discusses the etiquette and custom of Yiwu area during Ming and qing dynasties, secondly respectively discusses the belief custom of Yiwu area during Ming and qing dynasties, ceremonies of capping, wedding, funeral and sacrifice, festival customs and their respective characteristics.Finally discusses the influence to the etiquette and customs of the Ywu noble family population flow in Ywu area. The conclusion mainly expounds the contemporary significance of the study about the regional etiquette and customs.
