This paper is a study on the semantic features of event nouns and its grammar performance.First of all, on the basis of the comparison between typical nouns and typical verbs, this paper studies on the semantic features of event nouns, and Identifies the main semantic features of event nouns:Action, Object, Self-contained, Dynamic, Time, No life, High-complexity, boundedness, designation, assertion. Event noun is a special noun combining object and action, static and dynamic, space and time, designation and assertion.on the basis of Identifying the semantic features of event nouns, we confirm the status of the event nouns in parts of speech:the event noun is in the cross position of noun category and verb category, and at an intermediate stage of nouns and verbs.Secondly, on the basis of Identifying the semantic features of event nouns, we study the collocation of event nouns and quantity, the collocation of event nouns and locality, the collocation of event nouns and verbs. We also study their grammar performance.These grammar performance is decided by semantic features of event nouns and verifies the semantic features.
