Shandong Province Cultural Industry Competitiveness Research

The cultural industry has been the world recognized as the sunrise industry of the newcentury and the gold industry. Global economic and cultural development, coordinateddevelopment of environment and culture, has become an important trend in today’s globalintegration development. Cultural industry has become a fast important force to promote thedevelopment of economy, becoming many countries’ pillar industry of national economy. Atpresent our country the study of culture industry research relatively was late to the worlddeveloped countries, and the study is still in the primary stage. Most studies focused on thetrends and suggestions on the development of cultural industry research, and mostly in theform of theory analysis. The cultural industry competitiveness research of an area, especiallythe quantitative analysis is less, so the regional cultural industry competitiveness of theempirical research is of great necessity.Relying on rich resources of history, cultural conditions, and the development of theeconomic base, the scale of the cultural industry in Shandong province is growing, thetraditional culture industry has obvious advantages. Emerging cultural industry vigorousdevelopment has initially formed all kinds, function relatively perfect system of culturalindustry. Province cultural industry to realize the added value of230billion yuan in2011, ashare of GDP reached5.11%, Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai four city cultural industryadded value of a share of GDP reached5%above, become a pillar industry of nationaleconomy, other region is behind, regional cultural industry development is not balanced.Thisbecome the present situation in our province. Based on regional cultural industry developmentpresent situation, how to according to the regional advantages of cultural industrycompetitiveness this problem remains is to be further research.In Shandong province "the12th five-year plan" to vigorously develop the culturalindustry background, this paper combined with the classical theory of industrycompetitiveness, from the analysis of the natural conditions, cultural conditions favorableconditions to develop cultural industry in Shandong province, using porter’s "diamond model"of economic view, summarizing the influencing factors of Shandong province culturalindustry competitiveness index system, using principal component analysis method, throughthe calculation of SPSS software,17cities in Shandong province cultural industrycompetitiveness rankings, analyzing the influence factors affecting the competitiveness ofcultural industry, i.e., the core competence based competitive factor,environmental factor, and environment competitive factor. This paper analyses factor’s influence on the regionalcultural industry development. And on the basis of the study and combining with theobjective conditions of17cities in Shandong province, the cultural industry competitivenessof17regional conditions and influence factors is analyzed and discussed, and finally putforward the countermeasures to improve the level of regional cultural industrycompetitiveness suggestions.
