Researching On The Essential Problems Of Arts Management

The establishment of a knowledge hierarchy is usually grounded on the solution to the essential problems. Arts Management is no exception. From the perspective of knowledge hierarchy, the essential problems of Arts Management is studied. By research methods of literature search, systems analysis, categorically analytic, analysis and synthesis, analyzing the scope of the essential problems of Arts Management, the correlations among the various elements of essential problems system, the correlations between the elements within system and environmental factors and studying specific contents of object, purpose, scope, theoretical framework and methods of the Arts Management tries to provide a reference for essential problems of general disciplines, to pave the way for the construction of Arts Management discipline.The discipline problems of Art Management can be divided into two levels of essential problems and extended. The level of the essential problems includes object, purpose, scope, theoretical framework, methods of study. The level of extended problems include attribution, characteristics, discipline subordinated of Arts Management. The level of the essential problems is an open system. There is a certain logical relationship between the various elements of essential problems within the system. Object of study determine the scope of study. The theoretical framework is systemaltization of study scope. Both object and purpose of study, as well as other elements, determine the study methods. The elements of the essential problems system are affected by external factors. The study object follows certain principles, and is subject to constraints and norms of other disciplines’study object. The discipline’s purpose is influenced by the needs of the community. Study methods subject to the constraints of the research paradigm and study conditions. The essential problems system affects external environment of system, such as extended problems.The object of study of Arts Management is the art organization and its activities. Indirect purpose is two-fold:the one hand, the original meaning of purpose is efficiently achieving organizational goals; on the other hand, strategic and value purposes are social benefits, art benefits and economic benefits as well as the balance of three kinds of benefits. The study scope of Arts Management includes disciplinary level, historical dimension, the macro level of art organization management and art organization management at the micro level. This paper constructs compound-type theoretical framework of Arts Management which combines theoretical framework of Arts Management based on scope of the function of Arts Management and classification of arts. On this basis, that compound-type theoretical framework of Arts Management combines knowledge of both disciplinary level and historical dimension constitutes Arts Management theory framework as a system of knowledge. Study methodology of Arts Management is composed of philosophical method, the method of general level and the method of specific level.
