Operation Modes Of Literary Schema Realization Of Li He’s Poetry Artistic Conception

The cognitive poetics is to use the tool given by cognitive science to explore how the language and the form of poetry are influenced and constrained by the process of people handling the information. Cognitive poetics can be traced back to the1970’s. The literary schema of cognitive poetics was first proposed by Kant, and had great breakthrough in the field of analyzing western poetry in the recent decades.The Chinese classical poetry is always analyzed from the angle of rhetorical usage, the way of expression and the angle of performance way. The researches that combine the cognitive poetics’ literary schema theory with Chinese classical poetry together are rarely seen in China. Thus, the using of cognitive poetics’ literary schema theory to analyze the realization of Chinese classical poetry’s artistic conception provides a new perspective for analyzing Chinese classical poetry. At the same time, it also provides the opportunity to combine western poetics together with Chinese culture, which promotes the value of the literary schema theory.Li He, as one of the "Three Lis" in Tang Dynasty, was one of the famous poets in China. The style of his poetry is quite different from that of other poets, and most of the poems show his sadness and sorrow in his deep heart. There are many images in his poems, and it is really worthwhile to make researches on the relative artistic conception showed by these image schemas.This thesis is written on the basis of the cognitive poetics’ literary schema theory, and regards Li He’s poetry as the main subject of study. As the particularity of Chinese ancient poetry compared to western poetry, this thesis analyzes Li He’s poetry from the following three modes of literary schema theory:the reinforcement of schema, the refreshment of schema and the restructuring of schema. The schema reinforcement is realized when the incoming facts are new but the schema knowledge is strengthened and confirmed. Schema refreshment means the schema is revised and its membership elements and relations are recast. The realization of schema restructuring is the creation of new schemas on the basis of old templates by the processing of projection mapping.This thesis is aimed at analyzing the realization of the three modes of the artistic conception of Li He’s poetry by cognitive poetics’literary schema theory. As a result, there will be better application of literary schema theory and deeper understanding of Li He’s poem.
