This article made a thematic study on the belief of goddness of Moint Tai Bixia Yuanjun in the perspective of folklore. Academic tradition of Folklore and folklore research method is the main basis of my argument and investigatiou. At the same time, my investigation and research also draws on the theoretical perspectives and methods of psychology (especially Jung’s analytical psychology),history, religious studies, sociology.anthropology, and other disciplines.Taishan goddess Bixia Yuanjun is one of the most influential goddess in Chinese history,in my opinion. The regardless of its image-building or her god Changes both have a long history of the evolution development. As a kind of folklore culture, the belief of Bixia Yuanjun is not onely important in history.but also very popular in people’s life today. Therefore, this article includes both history and reality, mainly used literature study of research methods.This article includes seven parts, the first part is the introduction, which introduces the reasons for choosing the topic, research significance, study on the current situation of the faith of goddess Bi Xiayuanjun, research methods and research perspective.The second part is an overview of the Primitive Worship and faith of Mountain Tai, introduces nature worship in primitive society and animism concepts, the origin of Taishan worship as well the personification of the God of Mount Tai.From the third part to the sixth part is an overview of the evolution process of Taishan gods, and the process is divided into four stages,, namely the original God of Mount Tai, Dongyuetaidi.the lady of Mountain Tai and Bixia Yuanjun.The third part is an overview of the original God of Mount Tai stage, introduces the Primitive Worship of the Mother Goddess, the Mother Goddess worship, focuses on the prototype of the original Taishan goddess. The original prototype of the God of Mount Tai is a Original Taishan goddess, she is a symbol of Mother Earth. The two goddesses-Nv Wa and the Queen Mother of the West who are closely related with Bi Xia YuanJun, actually two cloned prototype of Mother Earth, respectively, on behalf of the "sweet mother" and "terrible mother". From the faith world to the real world by people, the original belief in the God of Mount Tai reflects the women worship in matriarchal societyThe fourth part is the Overview of the male Taishan God-Dongyuetaidi, analyzed the origins of Dongyuetaidi and his functional. Dongyue emperor is the inevitable product by transition from matriarchal society to patriarchal clan society, he is a official male god set up by the government in patriarchal society, and his presence means that the early primitive society centered on women begin to collapse, the social structure of men instead of women’s status, the goddess’s status began to fall. However, by investigating its origin history, it is not difficult to find, that the the concept of life and death reflected by dongyue emperor belief is closely related to the earth mother in the real. Primitive mother god worship is not going away, to avoid the fierce conflict with the patriarchal social mainstream culture, it latent deformation, deep into the human collective unconsciousness quietly.The fifth section is a discussion of the Jade Maiden stage.
