In this article, we take the auxiliary verbs as the subject of research;refer to the modal verb body of theoretical research and the best practices of teachingChinese as a foreign language, consider the foreign students as the target audience ofthis investigation, apply the relevant linguistic theory, language teaching theory aswell as language acquisition theory, use the method of questionnaire survey, aiming atthe investigation and statistical analysis of the auxiliary verbs’ usage status for foreignstudents. In the meanwhile, this article states the comparison between the auxiliaryverbs’ acquisition order and the teaching arranged order in the books, which helpsclarify the differences and better guides the teaching of Chinese. The article alsocollects the error types occurred in the foreign students’ auxiliary verbs’ learningprocess, which addressed at the misuse of auxiliary verbs and analyzed the reasons.Against the different reasons, this article puts forward the correspondent solutions forimproving the teaching of auxiliary verbs, expecting it can provide some theoreticalbasis for error analysis theory and inter-language theory, and it will definitely providegreat value for the acquisition of auxiliary verbs in the foreign students’ learning, aswell as brings benefit to the teaching of auxiliary verbs in this field.
