In recent years, along with the master graduate student education scale expanding, thesituation of master graduate student employment is going to be seriously, and the problem ofmaster graduate students’ career decision-making has got more and more attention. Careerdecision-making difficulty is when someone making career choices, she or he don’t knowengaging in what kind of career or have difficulty in choosing one from a few kinds of careers,and career decision-making difficulty is one of the important research contents inoccupational psychology, and it has important influence on career development ofpostgraduates.We chose330postgraduates as the research subjects, used Career Decision-makingDifficulties Questionnaire, Achievement Motivation Scale and Social Support Research Scaleto investigate the characteristics of postgraduates’ career decision-making difficulties in theaspects of gender, major field of study, native place, only child or not and having workexperience or not, and analyzed the influence of the inner achievement motivation andexternal social support on postgraduates’ career decision-making difficulties. Besides,according to the results of Career Decision-making Difficulties Questionnaire and theprinciple of voluntary, we selected12subjects who had career decision-making difficulties,and selected6of them into experimental group, other6into the control group. And then weused group sandplay therapy to intervene the experimental group to evaluate the effect.And the results are as follows:(1)Postgraduates’ career decision making difficulties are in the middle level.(2)Postgraduates’ career decision making difficulties have significant differences on gender,native place, only child or not and having working experiences or not; and it has nosignificant difference on major fields of study.(3)Postgraduates’ career decision making difficulties have significant correlations withachievement motivation, and postgraduates’ career decision making difficulties have significant correlations with social support(except lack of preparation and objective support,lack of information and the use of supports).(4)Achievement motivation and social support have significant prediction to postgraduates’career decision making difficulties.(5)Group sandplay therapy has significant effect on intervening postgraduates’ careerdecision making difficulties.
