In this research, we used questionnaires combining with implicit association tests toexploring pupils’ cognitive styles in different materials effect on implicit aggression. Theresearch examined the implicit aggression in gender, and different materials priming theimplicit aggression. And also test the relationship between implicit aggression and explicitaggression.The first study measured130pupils about Embedded Figures Test(EFT). And then wepicked up70students including field independent and dependent. Furthermore, the70subjects were asked to test implicit aggression under different materials(video,pictures,words). At last,60valid data of students were got.The second study measured the pupils’ explicit aggression. This research used theAggression Questionnaire(AQ) wrote by Buss and Perry, including physical aggression,verbal aggression, anger and hostility. Every time when the IAT was finished, the aggressionquestionnaire was following. The project explored the relationship between explicit andimplicit aggression.The results showed that:1,Different materials could prime the implicit aggression, and there was no significantdifference in gender about implicit aggression.2,Pupils’ cognitive styles in different materials priming were significantly different. Thesubjects in field independent got lower scores than ones in field dependent about implicitaggression.3,The effects of the priming of different materials were different. The video owned themaximum effect. The second was words. And the minimum was pictures. The video and thepictures existed significant difference.4,There was no significant correlation between implicit aggression and explicitaggression.
