The multi-dimensional intelligent theory more and more is taken by the domestic andforeign scholars, comprehensive understanding intelligence becomes the urgent need ofeducation development. The art design colleges and universities are special groups ofimplementation education for all-around development, have own characteristic, therefore notonly wants to the art design colleges and universities student’s education “in a swagger”,should also “make up a shortage”, must provide more opportunities and the developmentopportunities for the different intelligent type students. In investigation to various art designcolleges and universities, applying the multi-dimensional intelligent theory in art designteaching, and developing student’s multi-dimensional intelligence through the teachingdesign’s improvement to obtain the improvement, oneself becomes the teachers universalattention the key and difficult question.First, the application of multi-dimensional intelligent theory in the art design teaching issystematically researched, the constitution of multi-dimensional intelligent is elaborated,based on the beforehand research results, the multi-dimensional intelligence’s concept isproposed. From aspects and so on connotation, constitution, evaluation method, characteristicthe comparative analysis to the multi-dimensional intelligent theory and the traditionalintelligence viewpoint has carried on. From analysis to multi-dimensional intelligencetheories and so on teaching idea, course content, teaching method to our country art layouteducation’s enlightenment is analyzed, its application may form multiplex the teachingcontent, causes the teaching method more scientific, is advantageous on reforming traditionteaching idea.Second, application analysis of the multi-dimensional intelligent theory in the art designteachings is discussed, developing student’s multi-dimensional intelligence through the artdesign teaching, the deeply research student’s8kind of intelligences in the art designteaching’s application through related case, teaching method based on the multi-dimensionalintelligence is proposed. The superior teaching with study the way of multi-dimensional intelligent theory is discussed, the conformity process of multi-dimensional intelligent theoryand the art design teaching is proposed through the example.Third, in the multi-dimensional intelligence’s evaluation method research, from thestudent growth and the development, the multi-dimensions, the demonstration to the studentto study the content and the learning process entire journey appraisal is carried. From themultiple perspectives with comprehensive and the development, the analysis to the traditionalintelligence’s appraisal and the multi-dimensional intelligent appraisal is compared, thecharacteristic of multi-dimensional intelligent teaching appraisal is summarized, the principleof multi-dimensional intelligent teaching evaluation is proposed. The realized method of themulti-dimensional intelligent teaching appraisal is discussed through arranging topic work,the learning process work collection and student file database.Finally, through introduction topic, new class instruction, emotion understanding as wellas design proposal implementation and so on, the multi-dimensional intelligence applies inthe art education curriculum is explained as sample for the art design discipline corecurriculum shape cognition. The detail evaluation process to the course content and thecurriculum plan’s implementation is analyzed and its application effect is evaluated, theapplication feasibility and the sophistication of multi-dimensional intelligent are proved.
