Study And Inquiry Qiu Zhijie’s"Total Art" And Its Theory And Practice

"Total art" as a comprehensive, huge new art theory system, it involves the philosophy and aesthetics, sociology, social psychology of various disciplines, this article as far as possible to do a comprehensive and in-depth analysis on Qiu Zhijie’s artistic creation and the theory, through the analysis and interpretation of his works and theory to find the expression of its artistic creation in the new form and new ideas.Qiu zhijie’s general theory of art is still a very new things in the history of contemporary art without historical precipitation and affirmation, but he makes a new possibility in a new Angle of contemporary art. Is spread through case study, this paper reveals to Qiu Zhijie’s Total artistic value and social significance of existence and the influence on Chinese contemporary art and enlightenment. Total art may be still not mature and of some defects, there have been many questions caused by different voices, so I carried on the exploration, discussing and thinking. As a new art practice and theoretical system, the Total art theory to expand and promote the development of contemporary art.The first chapter mainly describes Qiu Zhijie’s "Total art" and the relevant practice, elaborated the meaning of "general art", and combined with the practice of Qiu Zhijie-two solo exhibition as the overall artistic analysis of the typical case.The second chapter discusses the origin of Qiu Zhijie’s "Total art", first trace Wagner’s "general works of art", then to analysis the influence of the western philosophy of Qiu Zhijie, with Wittgenstein and Heidegger as typical representative analysis, and the influence of Chinese traditional culture, represented by Zhuang zi. The third chapter analyzed and discussed the "Total art" of Qiu Zhijie, including the examples caused by different point of view.The fourth chapter is a summary about the practice of "Total art" of Qiu Zhijie, mainly analyzes how to implement the "overall art" way of linking.
