The Power Of The Medium In Mo Yan’s Works

The article will put the discussion of the literature under the perspective of the communications and medium, which is based on Mo yan’s literary works, using the above perspective to interpret and analyze from the creative of thinking and form to the performance of concrete details as well as the application of a variety of media forms and element embodiment. At the end the various enlightenments are summarized for the literary creation, communication and criticism as so on.Also in the article the medium understood and applied in literature will be discussed in two mainly aspects. The first is from the overall perspective, consider that literature itself in nature can be interpreted as a medium, which is used to spread author’s ideas, attitudes and emotion and as well as the medium of their own literature information. The second is mainly from literature itself think different plots and event information should use different media respectively, according to the characteristics of all kinds of information to make more accurate and effective communication. In addition, with the coming of the media age the way of thinking not only influence and change the readers’ reading habits and preferences as same as to a certain author’s creative process. Thus it may become a new possibility and direction to do literary criticism by utilizing the viewpoint of communication and media.In Mo yan’s works, the use of diversified forms and elements of media is more obvious and prominent, so taking Mo yan’s literary works as example to analyze and research on the issue. In the first chapter mainly discusses that literature can be regarded as medium according the perspective of communication and media. The application of many different forms of media elements is remained in the medium. In the second chapter the creative process is similar to the coding process. In the fourth chapter, the works are analyzed from the perspective of the whole works. The mediated thinking is applied in the construction and expression for some literature creative framework. The last chapter mainly elaborated the enlightenment brought from the media power for the literary creation, transmission and criticism under the perspective of media.
