It takes quite a long period to form this ability. Music appreciation is a complex process of appreciating beauty, integrating psychological factors such as percept, understanding andimagination. Firstly, people should own the ability to percept the music elements like rhythm, melody, harmony. Secondly, people should understand the feelings and artistic conceptions displayed in the combination of different music elements in different ways. Finally, people should combine their feelings caused by the music works and the feelings that the composers intents to express to product resonance.As the basic subject of music education, solfeggio aims to make the students familiar with and master the characteristics of rhythm, melody, harmony, mode and tonality by listening distinguishing, dictation and solfeggio. It helps students to develop a good sense of rhythm, melody, harmony, mode and tonality which is the foundation of music appreciation. It’s not difficult to find that solfeggio plays an important role in music appreciation,so it’s possible ans necessary to develop music appreciation ability by solfeggio. Based on previous theories and teaching practice, this thesis discussed the ways of train music appreciation ability more efficiently in solfeggio teaching by combining music works.
