An Analysis Of Music Appreciation Ability Training In Solfeggio Teaching

Our economy is developing rapidly, which has pushed forward human culture on ane hand, and on the other hand increases the demand of talents, so as the requirements of talents. Therefore, only possess strong comprehensive abilities can we face all kinds of challenges from our society easily.The cultivation of talents depends on education, so education needs to constantly reform to adapt to the development of the society, so as the music education.Music education aims to train the ability of feeling, appreciating and displaying beauty and to form good aesthetic conceptions, which accords with the national requirement to strength the EQO (essential-qualities-oriented), so it’s very important for music teachers to choose what kind of teaching methods in their classes.As one of important purposes of music education, music appreciation has its own particularity and complexity. It takes quite a long period to form this ability. Music appreciation is a complex process of appreciating beauty, integrating psychological factors such as percept, understanding andimagination. Firstly, people should own the ability to percept the music elements like rhythm, melody, harmony. Secondly, people should understand the feelings and artistic conceptions displayed in the combination of different music elements in different ways. Finally, people should combine their feelings caused by the music works and the feelings that the composers intents to express to product resonance.As the basic subject of music education, solfeggio aims to make the students familiar with and master the characteristics of rhythm, melody, harmony, mode and tonality by listening distinguishing, dictation and solfeggio. It helps students to develop a good sense of rhythm, melody, harmony, mode and tonality which is the foundation of music appreciation. It’s not difficult to find that solfeggio plays an important role in music appreciation,so it’s possible ans necessary to develop music appreciation ability by solfeggio. Based on previous theories and teaching practice, this thesis discussed the ways of train music appreciation ability more efficiently in solfeggio teaching by combining music works. Having consulted relevant information, the author has found that some scholars have given their own views and written theses on solfeggio teaching by combining music works. Their theses focus on how to improve the efficiency of solfeggio teaching, to stimulate students’interest and enthusiasm. In this thesis, the author mainly. This thesis is divided into three parts.In chapter one, the author expounds the concept and characteristics of solfeggio and music appreciation. In view of the problems existing in solfeggio teaching, the author makes a detailed discussion on the importance of developing music appreciation ability and on factors which affect the ability. Chapter two is the key of the thesis part, in which the author demonstrates the feasibility of training music appreciation ability in solfeggio teaching by giving some teaching examples, and discusses the teaching methods.
