| With the development of modern education, graduate education continues to expand thescale, the number of admissions rose year by year. The increasing graduates bring a lot ofpractical problems, the most important is employment. Graduates had been received wideattention. This article attempts to explore the relationship of professional commitment,occupational values and career decision-making self-efficacy of postgraduates, hoping toprovide a theoretical basis for career planning guidance of postgraduate student.The research tools of this study are "Professional Commitment Scale","OccupationalValues Scale" and "Career Decision-making Self-efficacy Scale". The subjects of this studyare the558postgraduate students from6universities. This article Using SPSS13.0softwarefor data analysis attempts to explore the relationship of professional commitment,occupational values and career decision-making self-efficacy of postgraduates. Theconclusions are as follow:1. Professional commitment of postgraduate students has significant differences ingender and professional. The score of boys on professional commitment and emotionalcommitment, ideal commitment and continuing commitment is significantly higher than girls.The score of science and engineering students on professional commitment is significantlyhigher than the literature and history students.2. Occupational values of postgraduate students have significant differences in genderand students regions. The score of girls on health factors was significantly higher than boys.The score of boys on prestige status is significantly higher than girls. The score of studentsfrom towns, rural areas and small cities on health factors towns, rural areas and small cities issignificantly higher than students from large cities.3. Career decision-making self-efficacy of postgraduate students has significantdifferences in gender, discipline, work experience. The score of boys on careerdecision-making self-efficacy is significantly higher than girls. The score of science andengineering students on gather information, select the target, problem solving, planning anddeveloping is significantly higher than literature and history students. Career decision-makingself-efficacy of postgraduate students has significant differences in work experience differences.4. Professional commitment was related to the total score of career decision-makingself-efficacy and its all dimensions. Graduate professional commitment was related to thetotal score of occupational values and its all dimensions, in addition to health factors andemotional commitment, ideal commitment. Occupational value was related to the total scoreof career decision-making self-efficacy and its all dimensions.5. Ideal commitment and normative commitment influence career decision-makingself-efficacy, the greater the ideal commitment and normative commitment, the greater thecareer decision-making self-efficacy. Prestige status and self-realization influence careerdecision-making self-efficacy, the greater the prestige status and self-realization, the greaterthe career decision-making self-efficacy. Health factors influence career decision-makingself-efficacy, the greater the health factors, the smaller the career decision-makingself-efficacy.6. Occupational values partly mediated the relationship between professionalcommitment and career decision-making self-efficacy. |
