Analysis On Ruanqu In That Distant Place

In That Distant Place was composed by Mr. CHEN Wen-jie in the1980s. This excellent Zhongruan Solo has been being loved by the Ruan professional performers and the mass audience. The creation and popularization of this music composition has played an important role in the development of Ruan profession. This paper consists of four chapters. In the first chapter of introduction, it is an overview of the Ruan instrument development history and the creation background of Ruanqu In That Distant Place. This chapter aims at pointing out the significance and importance of the paper. In the second chapter, it conducts a comprehensive analysis on the musical structure characteristics of this music composition respectively from the five parts of " Opening Words, Part A (presented), Connection, Part B (compared to the central), A (represented)". In the third chapter, on the one hand, it deeply analyzes the application of performing skills and techniques of left and right hand in Ruanqu In That Distant Place by using the way of combining literary analysis and spectral instruction. On the other hand, it focuses on analyzing the technique difficulties of performing Ruanqu In That Distant Place. It also presents and analyzes the problems to which the performers should pay attention while they are applying the techniques of playing round, making sweeping and brushing. This is very innovative. In the fourth chapter, it uses the linear melody of Chinese traditional music and Xinjiang musical elements showed in this music composition as entry points. Still using the literary and spectral combination way, it conducts a musical aesthetics reflection on In That Distant Place.
