Chinese Culture As Depicted In The Modern Chinese Literature Course Works Of Indian Universities

India and China are the oldest continuous civilizations in the world wherecivilizing process was initiated and developed. They share a cultural history of5000years. They are woven together by culture, religion, art forms, literature, naturalism,philosophy and race that the commonalities in Indian and Chinese culture arepalpable.The interchange and intermingling of Indian and Chinese culture have attractedyoung Indians to the field of Chinese cultural studies and literature. Since lessresearch is done in the field of modern Chinese literature and culture, this paper isaiming to fill the gap. The research result will be on a new concept, which willfacilitate to improve the current Chinese literature curriculum in India, also toimprove the layout of Chinese literature syllabus. The paper also concentrates onChinese Culture along with literature.This paper is divided into four important contents, and is as follows:The1st chapter describes the main purpose of the topic, meaning, methods andtarget of this research. This chapter also elaborates modern Chinese literature, culturalinfluence in respect to the research situation in India and the research in modernliterature and cultural aspects in ChinaThe2ndchapter includes survey of Indian universities opting to teach modernChinese literature. The main content of the survey include Indian universities selectedworks of modern Chinese literary genre and style writer, works, course status quo,teaching methods and means.The3rdchapter includes result analysis of teaching Chinese modern literature inIndia, Indian universities selected works of modern Chinese literature, and standardanalysis of writers. This chapter also focuses on the selection process such ascriteria and characteristic for the study area of modern Chinese literature by IndianProfessors.The4th chapter will continue with the research topic on Chinese culture asportrayed in modern Chinese literature course works selected by Indian universities.In this chapter the emphasis is on the rich and vast literary tradition of China, modernliteratures and modern literary culture flourishing in China. My research will facilitate the Indian readers especially students who are inclinedto learn Chinese, Chinese literature and Culture, to easily understand the modernChinese literature and culture. And the research paper also aims in aiding the Chinesecounterparts to enhance their understanding of Chinese modern literature teachingstandards methods and environment in India.
