Young students are the main force of social construction in the future, but also thebackbone in the construction of harmonious society. Vocational school students enter into thesociety, they are in the key period of physiology, psychological development and development,but because they are lack of the social experience, and are full of confusion to the change ofsociety rapidly, with the employment, love problems, Psychology is unable to withstand and itis easy to appear not harmonious situation, which requires all aspects of family and societyguide them and help them tide over the disharmonious period. Some vocational schoolstudents is poor in the degree of self-harmony, the reasons may be varied, including familystatus, parenting style, physical characteristics, personality, social support and other reasons.This paper mainly studies the relationship between paternal nurturing styles and self-harmonyof vocational school students, explore the effect of father’s rearing style on self harmoniouspsychology students, and study its correlation. Thus the research hypotheses were proposed:(1) vocational school students have a strong sense of paternal nurturing styles.(2) There aresome vocational school students in the self-disharmony.3) Paternal nurturing styles andchildren’s self-harmony is significantly correlation.In this study, the1100students in Tang Shan Foreign Economic and Trade School aretook as subjects, through individual interviews and questionnaires, paternal nurturing stylesquestionnaire and self-harmony scale are compiled by C.Rogers, researcher tests subjects.The test results make some descriptive statistics by using the statistical software of SPSS18.0,analysis of variance and correlation, with the history of domestic and international research onthe paternal nurturing styles, self harmony, researcher gets the following conclusions:1) thepaternal nurturing styles tends to the warm feeling.2) self-harmony level of vocationalschool students is in general, and need to be intervened by family, school, society.3)paternalnurturing styles and self-harmony level of children has significant correlation.
