The Research Of Semantic Formation Rules About New Double Syllable Words By Facing Information Manipulating

With the advent of the information age, modern Chinese vocabulary develops rapidlyand "new words" increase sharply, while "Chinese characters" is not. That is to say, althoughthose words that are not found in computers are generated through various means and havenew forms, new meaning or new usage which original words do not possess, materials of newwords still exist in original words. This phenomenon needs us to figure out the relationshipbetween the morpheme meaning and the lexical meaning. Therefore, the present author of thisthesis intends to adopt the method of machine learning, aiming to "teach" computers the lawof word-formation which turns integrated morpheme meaning into the lexical meaning,making computers recognize and understand those words that are not found in computers.Based on the wide collection of new words from1978to now, the present authorcombines Mei Jiaju’s Classification System of meaning in Synonyms Thesaurus (TongYiCiCiLin) and Kang Shiyong’s Information Data of Chinese Character Lexical Class (Hanzi YileiXinxi Ku) to note semantic annotation on each of the collected17395new double syllablewords. On the basis of these, the author will establish the database of word-formation law ofnew words. we make classification on the large-scale corpus, and then analyze the varioustypes of the semantic word formation rules to seek the rationality and application value.This paper is divided into12chapters which are organized as follows:Chapter one makesa brief introduction to the research overview of the semantic word formation rules, and thenthe significance, aims and thoughts of this thesis; Chapter two displays the database researchand implementation of the new double syllable words’ semantic word formation rules,including the definition of new words, problems of the corpus annotation and etc; The third tothe tenth chapter is the main part of the article, respectively expounds a+b=a=b,a+b=a,a+b=b,a+b=c,a+b=a+b, a+b=a+b+d, a+b=a+d, a+b=d+b types, and carries on thestatistical description to each type, analyzing reasons and summarizing characteristics; The11th chapter summarizes the general characteristics of new double syllable words’ semanticword formation rules; The12th chapter is the conclusion of this thesis, expounding innovationand inadequate of the thesis.
