The vij āna-pari āma theory is the basic instruction about vij āna becomi-ng into all kinds of things and no matter existing without vij āna in the Cons-ciousness-only. All kinds of things are consciousnesses transformation. The Vij-āptimātratāsiddhi regards vij āna-pari āma as its intrinsic clue and cause-cons-ciousness-transformation-subject and effect-consciousness-transformation-subject a-s its basic structure, to establish the transformation is threefold model underthe limit of the causal laws. This article firstly settles yogācāra’s and Chinese consciousness-only thoug-ht’s main lineage, introduces the Consciousness-only’s circumstance, behaviour, result and special teaching classification, explores the original meaning of vij-āna-pari āma and the special meaning in Vij āptimātratāsiddhi. After distinguis-hing two kinds of vij āna-pari āma model, this article starts from the Vij āpti-mātratāsiddhi, regards seeds as cause-consciousness-transformation-subject and e-ight phenomenon consciousnesses as effect-consciousness-transformation-subject,analyses many of the concepts in the Vij āptimātratāsiddhi in the specific disc-ussion. The vij āna-pari āma theory’s another important aspect is cause and ef-fect problem. The basis of the Consciousness-only’s cause and effect is four-c-auses and five-effects theory, and the fifteen places to rely on and ten kindsof causes are special. On the basis of combing through the text, the vij āna-pari āma theory inthe Vij āptimātratāsiddhi contains four parts mainly: transformation-subject andtransformation-object, change-subject and change-object, measure-subject and m-easure-object, influence-subject and influence-object. These four parts constitutean inner self consistent vij āna-pari āma theory. This theory has a significanteffect on the origin theory and the modernization of the Buddhism.
