The language contact and vocabulary exchange between Chinese and Japanese resultto the existence of the large quantity of loanword.which are the Japanese loanword exitedin Chinese and the Chinese loanword exited in Japanese. After entering into the otherlanguage system, some loanwords have changed their meanings or shapes and somehaven’t. This brings some advantages to the Chinese learners whose mother tongue isJapanese while make them easier to understand and use loanwords unproperly andattributes to the result that the mistakes made by Japanese students are more than the onesmade by students from other countries.At present,the domestic studies on loanword are mainly about the sources and sorts ofthe loanwords. They only remain at the words’body while turning a blind eye to apply theresults of the studies into practice. I consider the loanword as an important part of thevocabulary teaching during teaching Chinese to Japanese and it is of great significance todirect practical teaching activity by the results of the studies on loanwords.This thesis is based on the research of loanwords in Chinese and Japanese and makescomparisons between Japanese loanwords in Chinese and the original Japanese words aswell as comparisons between Chinese loanwords and the original Chinese words about themeanings. Goes a step further, the thesis points out the place where it is easy for Japanesestudents to make bias and analyzes some language materials with bias collected by thedatabase and teaching practice. Last but not least, the thesis applies the result of the studyinto practical teaching activities that teaching Chinese to Japanese just as put forewordsome teaching methods aimed at vocabulary teaching on the base of contrast analysis andbias analysis. In this thesis, a vocabulary table in view of the loanwords is also created.
