Study On The Sense Of The Contemporary National Happiness From The Perspective Of A Harmonious Society

The pursuit of happiness is the eternal theme of humanity. Marx summarized the previous research on the happiness and formed his complete view of happiness. Marx’s view of happiness unified material happiness and spiritual well-being, individual happiness and collective happiness together, viewed the liberation of all mankind as the highest goals, so it is scientific, comprehensive, and lofty life happiness. By30years of reform and opening up, Chinese people have made great achievements in economic development led by the Communist Party of China, people’s living has reached the well-off level and building a socialist harmonious society is the main aim to realize people’s happiness.The practice of China’s modern social development has proved that Marx’s theory is consistent with the development of the times and social progress, and it is so far contains the concept of Marxist view of happiness, being distinctive characteristics of the times and has become an important theoretical guidance for the construction of harmonious society and enhance the sense of national happiness.Based on the reviews of Maslow’s demand theory, Marx’s view of happiness as well as Deng Xiaoping and other party and state leaders view of happiness theory, this article reveals the present happiness situation of city workers, farmers, intellectuals, public servant, the owners of private enterprises, migrant workers, the college students, the old people and rural and urban unemployed and underemployed. This paper analyzes the main factors that affecting the national sense of happiness:the level of economic development is one of the important reasons for the sense of national happiness; the imbalance of economic development affects national happiness; the social security system which is not perfect is impeding the promotion of the sense of national happiness; employment problem concerning the livelihood of the people still exist; political democracy is important for the premise of the sense of national happiness; social justice is the support of national happiness; harmonious culture is an important basis of national happiness; view of happiness and national cultural demand are important factors affecting the national happiness; social environment and the ecological environment have important influence on national happiness. on this basis, the article puts forward countermeasures to improve the sense of national happiness:to emphasize the development of economy; narrow the gap between rich and poor, expand employment and improve the social security system; to ensure fairness and justice, strengthen democracy and legal system construction; to meet the needs of national culture and to establish a correct concept of happiness are the important means to enhance the national happiness; to construct a harmonious social environment, advocate the view of helping and respecting the old, pay attention to the building of enterprise culture environment and rural construction are important to enhance the sense of national happiness; to strengthen environmental protection so that the living environment can be conducive to the national physical and mental health is helpful to enhance the sense of national happiness.
