Function Study On The Communist Youth League Of Guangzhou Under The Background Of Social Management Innovation

As the development of the market economy system and the social structure adjustment are underway, the social formation of China during the period of transformation is experiencing a transition from the local society to the stranger society. Since the traditional governance mode of government-oriented single unit can hardly meet the requirements of social management, domestic governments at all levels propose the innovation of social management, exploring the effective paths to strengthen the public society as well as accelerate the transformation of the government from the aspects of both top-level design and practical operation.In the political and academic circles, one of the popular propositions is that people’s organizations, such as the Communist Youth League of China, the General Labor Union and the Women’s Federation, play a role of bridge and tie in the process of social management innovation.Meanwhile, Youths’values, interests expression, lifestyles, behavior patterns, ways of communication and gathering are changing dramatically with the rise of network society and the emergence of youth social organizations in large numbers. Therefore, the future development of the Communist Youth League of China, whose attraction and influence to youths are declining, is faced with unprecedented challeges.In this context, the thesis selects the Communist Youth League of Guangzhou as the study object, analyzing the old organization’s function variation with its91-year’development path, in the purpose of finding an effective way to adjust to the social management innovation trend.More importantly, it is to build an effective duplicatable function variation mode by regulating and managing the youth social organizations under the background of social management innovation, providing reference for the communist youth leagues of other provinces or cities.
