In the research field of landslide monitoring system, due to the development of differential GPS technology, the accuracy of GPS positioning compared to other methods is even better.GPS positioning has a wide range of applications, which has become a hot research of landslide monitoring techniques.This article will focus on the the landslide monitoring technique based on differential GPS.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Landslide monitoring system is proposed and created based on differential GPS algorithm and GPS positioning error sources are analyzed. This paper gives the algorithm analysis and program implementation of the GPS satellite instantaneous coordinates on the landslide monitoring system, compared with precise coordinates provided by precise ephemeris,then it can evaluate the precision for Coordinate calculation.Then we focus on the following works for the precision analysis, including the conversion of coordinate system, single point positioning,etc.(2) Observation model of GPS carrier phase difference algorithm which is the highest precision algorithm and the differential correction number generated by the process are mainly studied. Then the calculation and analysis of integer ambiguity is introduced which is the key to the carrier phase difference experiment.(3) Determine the composition of landslide monitoring system with hardware devices and the experiment is analyzed next. We can get the carrier phase differential curve along with the change of different epoch by data processing to determine the scope of epoch interval for calculating the integer ambiguity. Then we can use carrier phase differential curve after calculating the integer ambiguity for error analysis.(4) With the carrier phase differential experiment, the influence of different satellites selection on the carrier phase differential curve is analyzed. Put forward the satellite elevation difference when picking satellites will have influence on the differential results.The reason of low accuracy of the carrier phase difference curve after calculating the integer ambiguity is the rapid and sustained change of the single satellite angle. Once the satellite is losted that we must recalculate the integer ambiguity in the monitoring process.
