| Tilting device is the main steel-making equipment, which is used for the smooth titled holding furnace and accurate positioning. A series of process operation, such as iron and steel converter confirmed, feeding, and so on, are completed by tilting device. Tilting device runs intermittently in low speed under huge loads, usually starts and stops at a low speed. Therefore, how to improve the reliability and convenience of the equipment, has been an important subject of industry research. In this paper, tilting device of the Hangzhou steelmaking group was used as the research object. Its structure optimization and dynamics analysis and the dynamic simulation was analyzed by using cad, numerical calculation and the computer simulation.The research is aimed to improve tilting equipment performance and ensure its tilting reliability. The main completed work is as follows.First, the optimization design model of full suspended converter tilting device was set up, using modulus:teeth number, spiral angle, coeffcient of tooth width, drive ratio of gear transmission system as basic design parameters, making system volume as objective function, using the linear and nonlinear constraints condition. The optimization design model was solved by MATLAB, then the final date was comparied with original data.Second, the dynamic analysis of full suspended converter titling device, dynamic modal was implemented through setting parameters of system reasonable. System simplifies meachical model of three-mass system. Though the establishment torsion vibration differential equations, kinetic equation, potential equation.
