In this paper, a new configuration of multi-link high-speed precision press were presented based on domestic research. Then several performance parameters were proposed according to this configuration. The structure was designed and researched around these performance parameters. The following aspects of contents were completed.Firstly, this structure’s differences and performance advantages with other structures were analyzed. The entire organization was divided into working mechanism and balance mechanism for analysis. The working mechanism’s kinematic analysis was done by using the analytical method. Then the structure size was optimized combined with the constraints. The movement of the main slider was researched.Secondly, the static analysis was done based on the nominal. The forces of each component was studied, after that its sectional dimensions was decided. Component’s quality characteristics was got according to its size and material. The kinetic analysis was done based on the quality characteristics.Thirdly, the balance mechanism’s size was designed. The mechanism’s kinetic analysis was done. Then the entire structure’s forces were studied. The best vertical inertial force balancing was achieved by optimizing the value of the block’s mass.After that, the structure’s dynamic static analysis was done and the force between adjacent components was studied. Then the sectional dimensions of working structure were checked and the sectional dimensions of balance structure were decided.Finally, the motor was selected and transmission belt was designed. Input shaft speed fluctuation was researched combined with motor torque and equivalent inertia. The influence of flywheel inertia to input shaft speed fluctuation was analyze. Then flywheel inertia was decided and its size was designed.
