Landslide is a common geological disasters in the Open-pit slope,it is a serious threat tomining safety, and bring great loss to the economy. So, in order to ensure that the mining safetyand saving the cost, it is necessary to study on the slope stability of open-pit mining. The stabilityof open-pit slope is directly affected by the shear strength of rock mass, and the shear strengthparameters of rock mass must be based on the corresponding parameter of rock,so in order toresearch the slope stability,it must start from the indoor test.Not only, because of mine slope is incomplex natural conditions, suffering from years of the rain, seepage is one of the indispensablefactors,and the combined effect between seepage field and stress field,make the research on slopestability more complex.The research object of this paper are west slope and northeast slope of some miningarea.Begin with the research of structure character of rock mass.Do many experiments inlaboratory, with the effect of osmotic pressure and two control structure, analysis the slopestability, the main research contents are as follows:(1) using the line method to measure the slope parameters of structural plane and rock mass,the RQD value, and then use the rock detection technology in-depth understanding of the internalstructure of the open pit slope, laid the foundation for the stereographic projection method forslope stability coefficient identification model and calculation of wedge stability.(2) the shear strength and permeability coefficient are important parameters of rocks throughlaboratory tests that rock, according to determine the RMR value of rock mass RMR rockclassification method, and through the Hoek-Brown method, quantitative curve of normal stressand shear stress of the regression equation of the relationship between, ultimately determine theshear strength parameters of rock slope.(3) were analyzed for statistical slope structure, determine the preferred structural plane,instability mode using the stereographic projection method and slope identification, using thelimit equilibrium method, the stability calculation of wedge may occur, the stability coefficient ofslope stability analysis, ultimately controlled by the structural planes.(4) using the software GEO-Studio in seep, slope and sigma of the study area in NortheastSlope and the west slope of modeling, using the limit equilibrium method, simulation of slope onthe stress field and seepage field under the joint action of slope stability analysis, the differentexcavation depth.
