| In China,the zinc resource is rich,and polymetallic lead-zinc mine are widely distributed,however,many of these mine contain marmatite more or less. The flotation characteristics ofmarmatite is complicated, which is not easy separated with sulfur minerals, in the separationof zinc mineral and sulfur mineral, marmatite and pyrrhotite is most difficult to be separated.The purpose of this paper is exploring the collecting mechanism of new collector QF-02andits application in the separation of marmatite and pyrrhotite, the main content is as follows:study the natural flotability of marmatite and pyrrhotite by conducting no collector flotation teston marmatite and pyrrhotite with different iron content. Traditional collectror was also used toflotate marmatite and pyrrhotite, the collecting effect of the new collector and traditionalcollectror was contrasted, then the adsorption mechanism of the collector on mineral surfacewas studied by Infrared Spectrum testing technology and adsorption tests. At last,the separationtest of the actual ore was conducted based on the test result of pure mineral.The result show that:both marmatite and pyrrhotite have good flotability in the acidcondition while they are inhibited in High alkali medium.The difference of iron content inmarmatite would affect its flotability,the higher iron content,the lower recovery of zinc.Whencopper sulfate was used as activator,compared to butyl xanthate and butylamine aerofloat,thenew collector QF-02has better selectivity and stability of wider pH range. The test of coppersulfate dosage showed that the dosage of copper sulfate is lower when QF-02was used whichindicated the new collector can save the reagent dosage.The analysis result of FT-IR andUltraviolet Spectrum indicated that QF-02can form chemical adsorption with marmatite surfaceand have larger amount adsorption quantity. The actual mineral test achieve the effectiveseparation of marmatite and pyrrhotite that zinc grade is41.17%and zinc recovery grade is87.60%by using QF-02as the collector of marmatite. |
