In recent years,many companies are under deficit in the iron and steelindustry of China.But at the same time,the production of steel is increasing.Thereasons why our companies lose are that the overcapacity of steel productionwith low technology,but the lack of high-quality steel.As these reasons,it is verynecessary to improve the technology of rolling.This passage proves thatstraighteners are equipments that very important in rolling production lines,andintroduces the development of straighteners.Full-hydraulic straightener belongsto the third generation of straighteners,and is the most advanced type in theworld at present.The improvement of full-hydraulic straightener in technologywill improve the quality of steel plates,especially the improvement in electriccontrol links.This passage mainly studies the electric control system of full-hydraulicstraightener. With the function extension of professional analysis software,straightener’s mechanical and hydraulic links are in the process of improving.Atthe same time, some problems exist in electric control links. And with the recentdecades development of modern control theory and intelligent controltheory,scientists put forward even more advanced control theories and controldesitions.The rapid growth of controllers makes it possible to improve thedifficulty and accuracy in control.In this case,this passage gives improvementsin controller and control algorithm.In the respect of controller,the moreadvanced Siemens high-speed counting module FM458will be put in themainstream S7-400PLC to improve the comprehensive performance ofstraightener by its anvantage. In the respect of control algorithms,PIDalgorithms are general algorithms.This passage introduces a PID algorithm withdead zone to avoid the oscillation caused by frequent actions in the process ofstraightening.Through the analysis of simulation results’ comparison,the PIDalgorithm with dead zone can surely reduce the oscillation and haves advantagestowards general PID algorithms.
