Polypropylene (PP) composed of propylene monomer, adding a certain amount of external additive. It has many excellent properties so widely used in various fields, especially in software structure of slope ecological restoration engineering in our country. But PP is particularly sensitive to light,when used outdoor it is easy to aging, this restricting its use and development.This paper adding anti-aging agent to produce PP, adding single type of HALS or compound HALS,then through xenon lamp aging four period (168h/period) to test its performance, screening the best effect of HALS. On this basis, to explore the various performance of HALS and UV absorber in PP, screening the best effect of compound. According to the performance test method for performance of national polymer materials testing PP:yellowing factor (Y), carbonyl index (CI), the content of β crystal (Kp), tensile strength and notch impact strength. The results show that:1)Adding HALS can make the light stability and mechanical properties of PP retention increased, second melting curve beta melting peaks, β crystal form can improve the aging properties of PP light. The content of0.3%best HALS can make the yellowing degree of PP was maintained at17.18%, tensile strength retention rate of up to84.59%.2)Composite HALS is better than a single HALS,Tinuvinl44is more suitable for mixed with GW622, GW944than GW540Complex inhibitor content of0.4%modified PP Y maintained below15%, CI was0.176, the tensile strength retention rate of up to91.38%.3) UV absorbs and HALS was added into PP, changed the crystallization of PP,β melting peaks melting curve appears higher, more β crystal content generation; increase the crystallization rate of PP; beta (300) crystal plane diffraction peaks were increased. UV327is more suitable for mixed with GW622, GW944, Tinuvinl44than UV531, UV absorber content is0.3%, the content of HALS is0.2%, PP had the best effect on performance improvement.
