Objective:To investigate the Pathogenicity of ureaplasma urealyticum serotype1(Uul) and4(Uu4) in the genital tract of the mice.Methods:A total of408estradiol-pretreated adult Kunming mice were randomly divided into2groups,including Uul and Uu4group.Three different concentration of Uu were inoculated intravaginally into every experimental group, culture medium of Uu was inoculated into the control groups. At1,3,7,14,28,42days after inoculation, the quantity of Uul and Uu4from Vaginal secretions and cervical secretions were detected by FQ-PCR.Part of the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries were placed in liquid media to detect Uu.HE staining histopathology of vagina, cervix, uterus, fallopian tube and ovaries was observed by light microscope.Results:(1) vaginal secretions and cervical secretions:the experimental groups of Uul and Uu4group showed a significant difference respectively (P<0.01).The total positive rate of same concentration groups from Uul and Uu4group showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).(2) To the last day of the experiment,there was statistical difference in the quantity of Uul and Uu4from vaginal and cervical secretion at different time points (P<0.05).(3)Uu liquid culture assay showed that the total positive rate of uterus and fallopian tubes in group Uul and Uu4had significant difference respectively (P<0.05).(4) At3-42days,the total pathogenicity rates in cervical of Uul and Uu4showed a significant difference (P<0.05). There was statistical difference between the total pathogenicity rates of uterus and fallopian tubes form Uul and Uu4group at7-42days (P<0.05).Conclusions:(1) Uul and Uu4mainly cause disease in cervix and induce inflammatory disease in upper genital tract.they can cause Short-term inflammation in vaginal.(2) The pathogenicity of Uu4in cervix and uterus, fallopian tubes has more virulent compared with Uul,and the pathogenicity is increased with the higher concentration of Uu inoculated.
