On Feng Of Music Education And Its Significance

Feng Zikai was a painter, cartoonist, art educator, music educator, prose writerand translator in China. He was a great knowledgeable artist, who combines foreignhumanistic spirits to Chinese humanist values.He was keen on popular music education, writing a lot of music books forprimary&middle school students and music lovers. His " Ten Western MusicianStories ","Music Introduction","Common Sense of Music "have influenced a lot ofpeople.He was an good educator. He funded and established Shanghai Private NormalCollege with Wu Mengfei and Liu Zhiping, which is the earliest private art normalschool. It has trained a number of music educators successfully likeTang Xueyong,Miu Tianrui.He focused on students humanistic education, doing scholarly researchrigorously with the influence of his teacher Li Shutong. Deeply influenced bytraditional Confucianism, He loved life and everything in the world.In this thesis, I explored his music educational thoughts and practicalsignificance, in order to give some references to the current music teaching.The thesis includes the following three parts:The first part is Introduction, mainly introduces subject selection, researchtarget and significance, research methods and presents the literature review as well.The body part reviews Feng Zikai’s music educational thoughts and value fromthe following aspects：Feng Zikai’s music educational thoughts’formation, FengZikai’s music educational thoughts, and the practical significance of Feng Zikai’smusic educational thoughts.The third part is Conclusion, summarizes Feng Zikai’s music educationalthoughts, and tells what I have learned from my research process and what to do inthe future.
