Semenov "Sonata" Explore Creative Techniques And Performance Skills

Since invented, Bayan accordion has a history of more than100years. In this short period of time, many composers and performers had composed plentiful and large numbers of musical works for it. Due to a particular tone, Bayan accordion became one of a folk instrument which was popular with public quickly. With the advancement of technology, the application of Bayan accordion is becoming widespread. The structure is gradually improved, and performance is also made a special request. Because of social change and progress of music creation technology, lots of personalized modern music works were created. At the beginning of the20th century, many European musicians created lots of modern music. Especially in some countries which are the member of USSR (Russia), many composers and performers created lots of significant musical works for Bayan accordion. These musical works included the wandering or screaming for the real world, and a great longing for a bright future. The Russian Bayan accordion Master, V-Semionov, is one of them. He created a great work, SONATA No.1, which he used both modern and traditional creative approach, also included many complex Bayan accordion playing technique. I tried to explore the creating approach and playing technique of SONATA No.1, to improve the study and play it in the future, and also provide some reference for it.
