| In the field of Russian functional linguistics, as one important semantic category,time category is one of content scenarios that the speaker needs to express. Accordingto the insights of functional grammar theory,“as one of the types of content scenarios,categorical scenario is the projection of the functional semantic field in thestatement.†Text is the communicative discourse in a specific context. It is the speechunit which is able to express the integrity of information, the semantic coherence inthe whole, and with the communicative purpose and function. Scientific text is animportant carrier of the recording and transmission of scientific and technologicalinformation. The paper focuses on the scenario in the time category set categoricalscenario as the study object and using Russian scientific text as corpus.On the basis of the results of previous studies, the paper defines the Russianscientific text, analyses the types of time-category scenario in scientific text and avariety of language expression means, and attempts to state some inspirations toRussian teaching with Bangdaerke’s grammatical categorical scenario theory as thetheoretical support.The paper is comprised of three parts: the introduction, the main part and theconclusion.Introduction: the paper’s study background, its study significance and object andstudy methods.The main part of the paper is composed of five chapters.Chapter One: a review of the research status of the Russian scientific text,including the research on scientific text at home and abroad, putting forward theresearch question in the paper based on previous studies;Chapter Two: defining the concept of Russian scientific text, including thedefinition of text, text types and the definition of scientific text;Chapter Three: theoretical foundation, including the overview of Bangdaerke’striangular frame theory and overview of categorical scenario theory;Chapter Four: analyzing the time-category scenario of Russian scientific text,which describes the definition of time-category scenario at first, then follows by thecategorization of the types of time-category scenario, and analyzes the content andmeans of expression in the time-category scenario; Chapter Five: inspirations to Russian teaching from the research of categoricalscenario in scientific text, which includes three inspirations: focus on the unity ofform and content of text in text teaching, attention to textual content integrity andfocus on the functions of semantic rhetoric in a text;The third part of the paper is the conclusion. |
