| Rachmaninoff is the most representative person of Russian romantic music at theend of nineteenth century and early twentieth Century, and he is also the worldfamous pianist, composer and conductor. His music has a strong Russia trait, and hisworks are represented by strong personal feelings and super vigor and performance,which has modernity and distinctive characteristics of Russia.Same with Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff is deeply rooted in Russian tradition ofmusic. His music works tend to madrigal theme and threnody or tragic image field,and merge seriousness, complexity, musicality and high difficulty into one organic,which require executants have comprehensive performance skills and rich emotion.The piano music style created by Rachmaninoff inherits Lester and Chopin’screative features, and it is also influenced by Schumann and Brahms, thus the musicis full of singing melody, colorful harmony sound, as well as the application of avariety of skills, but on the whole, his piano music is creative. Rachmaninoff’smusical works has a great influence on the whole world of music.Rachmaninoff’s piano musical creation is the most important part in his all fieldsof creation, the types of literature are widely, quantity is huge, standard is high, andthe level can’t reach by many contemporary musician. Six piano songs of "MomentsMusicaux" studied in this paper is one of Rachmaninoff’s most successful, maturepiano works in his early creation life. The success of "Moments Musicaux" is notonly the sign that his creation comes to maturity, but also the turning point in hismusical life, his six songs of "Moments Musicaux" are the required songs manypianists would choose. This paper makes systemic introduction and analysis of his sixpiano songs of "Moments Musicaux" in four parts, the first part introducesRachmaninoff’s life story, including the background and life experience, and thenmakes a summary of his piano music, and explains the characteristics of his musicemotion. The second part carries out an analysis of Rachmaninoff’s music languagecharacteristics from three aspects: nationality, singing, and tragic, the third partintroduces the background of Rachmaninoff’s six songs of "Moments Musicaux", which reflects Rachmaninoff’s different mentality and emotion in different periods,and then this paper also makes an analysis of the melody and accompaniment of sixpiano songs of "Moments Musicaux", in summary the third part gives an analysis ofthe common points of melody, harmony, and texture for six piano songs of "MomentsMusicaux". The fourth part makes an analysis of the musical performance forRachmaninoff’s six piano songs of "Moments Musicaux", the first section carries outan analysis of playing skills from legato, chord, and treadle, the second section isabout music image and emotion, the author designs images for six piano songs of"Moments Musicaux" respectively to better grasp the emotion of music, the thirdsection explains the difficult points in practice. Based on the above viewpoints,players would have a more accurate grasp of the works in practice. |
