The Chinese character recognition is one of the important area of research in cognitive psychology. Chinese characters exist similar with other text, unlike other text. Chinese characters is a unity of sound, form, meaning, alphabetic writing is the same. Chinese character strokes, said in a two-dimensional structure geometry very rules written characters, belong to the plane type text, which is different and the phonetic system arranged in a linear fashion. Identification of the phonetic system generally experienced by the characteristics to letters, letter groups or words such letters to, this view has become the consensus of many scholars (McClelland&Rumelhart;1981; Taft,1991) and for two-dimensional graphics characteristics of Chinese characters, the recognition unit has a lot of controversy, a point of contention is that the Chinese characters as a whole to identify, or phonetic system similar to going through the recognition process from such a series of strokes, components and to characters. The basis of the experimental study, there are three main orientations of the Chinese character recognition:(1) The orientation of the overall analysis of the whole word is the basic unit of the Chinese character recognition.(2)Characteristics analysis theory orientation recognition of Chinese characters is a bottom-up, from the local to the overall processing characteristics of an important role in Chinese character recognition from strokes to the whole word.(3) Interaction Analysis orientation Chinese character recognition is the process of interaction of the overall processing and feature machining. For the study of Chinese character recognition at home and abroad has yielded fruitful results, comprehensive previous studies, a lot of factors that affect Chinese character recognition, both macroeconomic factors such as word frequency and structure of Chinese characters; another micro factors such as the number of strokes, stroke repeatability and complexity, strokes spatial location. PS software used in this study, the share of Chinese characters as a whole pixel value differences of each stroke, the stroke length of this variable, that the stroke length will affect Chinese character recognition. The study included two experiments First, a Chinese character naming experiments, experimental eye movement trajectories were recorded by natural reading process, and to explore the processing of the case of the normal reading and reading target Chinese characters. Three experiments are3(emoval type:beginning stroke, ending stroke, or no removal) x2(stroke length:long strokes, short strokes) within-subjects design. The first experiment found:the length of the stroke position and stroke will affect the difficulty due to the absence of the strokes of Chinese character recognition. Stroke position is not the only factor of the degree of importance of the affect strokes, the length of the stroke itself also carries a lot of information, and can also affect the strokes degree of importance. Experiment II:stroke effect exists, the the stroke length effect is not obvious. This maybe because, in a normal context, the strokes missing the impact of the context of the sentence to make up strokes incomplete, subjects can still guess the full context of this character. In the past, there is no proposed the concept of the length. The weighted value of the importance of each stroke in Chinese characters is not clear. Provincial strokes repeatedly verified strokes position to affect the degree of importance of stroke, but the results of this study showed that stroke position seems not the only influencing factors.
