Children 3 To 5 Years Old Developmental Characteristics Awareness Of The Rules And Their Relationships With Temperament

The awareness of the rules, defined as people put the rules for their own actions yardstick awareness from their heart.It’s a kind of self-consciousness about the external rules,social relations and social order.Children’s social awareness of the rules not only affect the establishment and the compliance of the rules of society, but also the ability to adapt to the society.We adopted the methods of experiments and questionnaire to study children’s understanding and behavior about the compliance of rules,there were120children selected for the study.Through experimental design we inspected the development level of children’s awareness of the rules, and a questionnaire was issued to measure the temperament.This study shows the differences between ages in the children’s development of awareness of the rules, and its relations to temperament. It also provides the evidence for the forecasting,early intervention and the study of children’s awareness of rules.The results show that:(1) There is statistical significance in the different age children. With the growth of age, the development level of children’s awareness of the rules will become higher,and the critical age of awareness of the rules of early childhood is3-4years old.During this time, children’s understanding and behavior about the complying to the rules has been rapid development.(2) There is statistical significant difference in boys and girls of the3-5years old,and the development level of girl’s is higher than boy’s of the same age.(3)The awareness of the rules of the3-5year-old children is related to the temperament,and the development of awareness of the rules can be predicted to a certain degree. Among these temperament,social inhibition,activity and focus have significant correlation to the development level of awareness of the rules of the3-5year-old children.(4) Factors that affect the development level of children’s awareness of the rules, include some important ones,like age, social inhibition,activity and focus. With the growth of the age,children who have higher social inhibitory and focus,or have lower activity,their awareness of the rules may reach a higher development lever.
