The British Labor Party has gone through a development history of almostone century. From the early stage when the Trade Union created the Labor Party,taking absolute dominion over it to the recent years Blair rebuilt the Labor Partyand established a partnership with the Trade Union, the Labor Party experiencedrise, decline and revive. The Labor Party and the Trade Union has cooperated andconflicted time after time, which is the result of frequent adjustment of guidingprinciple and policy of the Labor Party. According to the special relationshipbetween the Trade Union and the Labor Party, the Labor Party had to adjust itspolicy because of the influence of the Labor Union. After the World War Ⅱ, theLabor Party policy about the Trade Union reflect in one way the effect of ithandling the Trade Union problem, Lessons learned in it and can be used forreference to the corporation of other parties and interest groups.This article is divided into five parts.Chapter I: Introduction, main contents include the origin and significance ofthe topics at home and abroad related research, research methods, ideas, andinnovation.Chapter II sets forth the influence of Industry democracy and the Thirdway”on the Trade Union policy of he Labor PartyChapter III describes the origin of the Labor Party and the Trade Union andthe early development of their relationship, which is foundation for the followingresearch of the policy about the Labor Party after the World War II.Chapter IV、V、VI, using historical research, describes the Trade Unionpolicy and adjustment in different stages from1945to2007. According to theperiod of the Labor Party being in power and their relationship, I divided thisperiod into several stages and illustrated the Labor Policy in economic, laws andthe labour and capital relationship in these stages, why the policy changed and theaffection on Labor party and Trade Union. In this period, the Labor Party settedup their ruling target and because the differences between it and the rarget oftrade Union, the Labor Party and the Trade Union cooperated and conflicted timeafter time.Chapter VII focuses on summarizing the main factors affecting Trade UnionPolicy of the Labor Party. After a detailed discussion and comparison of the tradeUnion Policy in different stages, some important and effective inspirations havebeen summarized to help us to deal with the relationship between the parts andthe interest groups.
